Anyone just now figuring that out has no business having anything to do with LSU sports!

The cluster in November 2015, his three failed basketball hires, and the cluster football search should have been more than enough to get arse fired long ago.

Not ironic, but certainly stupid.

O might be the LSU Bear, but his hire was highly questionable as was the Alleva so called search!

Not that surprising to me. Coming from Duke, he was supposed to know something about basketball. It would not be surprising if his failure at every turn with both basketball programs were his undoing.

That said, if he had not completely bungled the football situation and embarrassed the school, he might have survived his chronic failures in basketball.

So, we fire Alleva and F. King hires another "yes man".
What have we accomplished?

We get rid of a AD who has fricked up four of five hires? Alleva has done the searches and suggested the hires who have failed badly to this point. Even if O works out, the process used in his hire is laughable.

How much longer do we have to put up with his shitty work product before we say ENOUGH!

In the eight years Alleva has been at LSU, our average points total in the Director's Cup standings has been 893.34. The eight years prior, it was 772.54.

The GSR of LSU sports has grown from 69% to 81% since he arrived.

Enough money has been made to improve facilities and donate back to the university while still operating in the black.

Alleva deserves plenty of criticism, particularly when it comes to football and basketball. However, the overall state of the athletic program is pretty damn healthy and I don't suspect he will go anywhere until we see how Coach O does.

I think people are overestimating how much the average LSU booster gives a frick about men's basketball

Football, if you listen to some of the clowns here, has become mediocre under Alleva. Basketball has nosedived under Alleva. Alleva had nothing to do with the baseball hire.

The Director Cup improvement is nice, but Alleva has failed and badly where it counts most.

He needs to go and as soon as possible before he does anymore damage to LSU sports.
