I agree.

I love coaching searches.

I'm still not ruling out that the meeting was with Dixon. The Athletic Dept. more than likely wouldn't want to leak the name of the coach, particularly in this situation. Many have hinted of a smokescreen, which means they want to keep it quiet.

What about this possibility: Avery Johnson.

They don't have a game tonight. Avery will more than likely be fired. They want someone with Louisiana connections. I'm not sure they could find someone more connected to New Orleans.
