What’s your theory, Les?

He made the big donors mad. Which is not a fireable offense. Which is why he was never fired.

If LSU had cause then he doesn't get paid.

of course he was forced out.

But With no cause.

Otherwise they fire him with cause, they hold a press conference, and they tell everyone why they fired him. Just like Louisville did with Tom Jurich.

He made the right move in suspending Wade. They donors who already didnt like him threatened the university and got their way. The university made a decision and their lack of information on the event says enough. The fact that he was never formerly fired tells the whole story. They had no cause.

Call it what you want. He was incompetent at his job. The handling of the Florida game, the Will Wade saga. I know your line of BS on the Wade deal. He should have played it exactly like the ADs at KU, Arizona, and Auburn. Instead he made a spectacle of the entire thing.

He was hired to field a lacrosse team and failed miserably.

Fired for poor performance, which basically he was, he still gets paid.

Joe was paid 20% of what Jurich was and Louisville was trying to pin the FBI stuff on him. They've since settled for 6x what LSU has had to play Alleva to go away. Not really a similar situation cause LSU didn't have near the motivation to try to not pay Joe's contract.

Who really gives a damn if Alleva was fired or not! Lol.

He was relinquished of his duties as AD, replaced, and given a meaningless job.

Of course there was no cause to fire him, but that’s meaningless. Those in power wanted him out and away from everything.

Yes, Alleva did do several good things here. But, make no mistake, he was an aloof, pompous arse. He was a media relations nightmare in the face of crises when tough decisions and a strong, positive face for LSU was required.

If Wade would have been smart enough to use a middle man like some of those other schools he would have been fine.

Wades behavior spoke to the seriousness of the allegations. Not sure what else one would need to understand Alleva’s decision. Most people not associated with LSU agreed with it

I have no connection to Alleva and really don’t give a shite about him.

Just glad some people understand what you just said

K. I’m smarter than your consistently retarded arse, so what does that say about you?
