Technically, there are no such things as non-revenue sports nowadays. Everything is pretty much non-revenue, with the exception of football. LSU and a hand full of others AD's nationwide are making a nice profit. All other programs struggle to get by.

Alleva deserves some credit in churning out a profit year in and year out, but that's about it

Yeah, Alleva's one of about 4 ADs in the nation whose athletic department actually churns a profit.

Dead Mike, shhh. It completely falls in his lap that he inherited 9/10 of the coaches we have on campus. He deserves absolutely no credit for hiring arguably the best up and coming WBB coach in the nation to help with the Director Cup standings

You guys are a trip

Cock, what the frick is up bro?

You seem to have it out for Alleva. There's always going to be folk who hate the AD.

Explain in great detail your grievances with this fellow.

Alleva was a bad hire. Where is LSU's Basketball team? Dead last finishes for 2 seasons. I guess I should specify Men's Basketball.

Is that acceptable? To Trent Johnson apologists, apparently it's not only aceepatable, but welcomed.

He's pretty much the black Gerry DiNardo of basketball?

I agree. Alleva was a bad hire beginning and ending with his complicity in the torture of the Duke lacrosse team.

It's not a race thing. Johnson has LSU Basketball in the middle of a Curley Halman "Dark Ages" type funk.

LSU has always been a football school.

I'm not into sports really. Just college football.

Why is Alleva pushing women's sports so heavily? 3 of 5 stories up right now on lsusports.net are about women's sports.

I'm concerned. You could wind up drunk in a boat with Alleva & son and wake up singing Darlin Nikki, wearing a tutu.

Are you just this dumb?

Do you people realize that there are more sports that Alleva has to oversee besides football, baseball, and men's basketball?

Maybe. It's not like excursions I've taken haven't wound up like that before. I'm more dapper than Telly Savalas

Lifelong. I'm in a debate with myself over who was the coolest actor of the 20th century: Savalas or Bogart? Hard choice

Sorry it bothers you Gracie. LSU does have a Baseball team, although not doing well under Alleva's watch. But he doesn't care if we lose 20 SEC games.

I suppose Mighty Joe just needed those 2 stories on women's softball.
