Let all 3 feel like the #1 guy and they will also get special packages rolled out that highlight their talents. The spring game should tell us a lot, maybe not the final answer but more than we know now.

Why can't we just have a clear cut starter first before we worry about special packages for the backups?

There would be two transfers with JM starting.

If JM is named the starter, this place will melt.

And rightfully so. He's not a starting SEC QB.

That's why I made my comments last week about LN transfer. The dude wants to play asap. He's not going to wait around. I hope he gets the nod and they all stay on the team. We need everybody.

You have a bigger credibility issue than LSU has a quarterback issue.

I wish we'd ban threads commenting on QB's. Until we get one that can perform on the field I don't give a damn what they did at practice.

I refuse to believe anything I hear from any source regarding LSU's offense until I can see it with my own eyes in an actual game.

Maybe I’m wrong but if Justin McMilan is the starting QB at LSU then we are in for some major trouble.

I’m not sure it would necessarily bad thing, but it would definitely be baffling.

If McMillian is poised to be the starter this year, how was Brennan getting game reps last year while McMillian sat the bench?

Canada wanted Brennan to play, but he had to fight Orgeron who wanted Etling to play.

Now because Orgeron thought it was a good idea to fire Canada, possibly all of that progress with Brennan has been lost.

Not really. Its a new offense new coordinator so learning process is going to be slow. Someone gonna separate after fall camp. Lets not forget that our defense is very stout so practicing against them aint easy.

I understand what you are saying but gosh if its a fair and impartial competition why wouldn't stay one more year. He's still one play away from hitting the field and has 4 years to play.

When someone asks a player to describe a QB and “confident” is used that doesn’t say much about how good he is. Brennan was said to have a great laser pass. But McMillan is confident. Says enough for me. Brennan will be named the starter around Aug 15.
