Now, I will say that Coach Mainieri needs to set Kramer down and remind him that as the lead off hitter he has to have more productive at bats. You KNEW going in, shite, Singer said it in the presser, that he was looking to keep the ball down and get ground balls. And Kramer does what Kramer does and swings away. They need more patience at the plate in the earlier innings to make the starter work and get to the bullpen earlier, especially Kramer. You hate to tinker with the lineup too much at this point, but I would actually rather see Antoine back in the leadoff spot.

You're an idiot.

We pitched Russell fricking Reynolds, Bush, and Newman, and Florida had 6 hits. Mainieri left Reynolds in a bit too long. That's it.

We've got better pitching set up than them, and a much better lineup. We are fine.

No, you're not getting it

Game is more mental than physical

My argument is that being down 1-0 is the BIGGEST deal.

Playing loose and relaxed is out the frickin door.

Poche pitching w/o the added pressure> Poche pitching down 1-0

I like our chances for sure. Get 7-8 out of Po and bring in the closer and game 3 with Lange. Will make CPM look like skip.

Regardless of who pitched, getting runs off Singer would be difficult

He has a 3 ERA

We scored 3

FL's lineup sucks

We had to walk 3 of their 4 runs on base and pitched arguably our bottom bullpen options.

You think Poche could not have done better? And I'm an idiot?

Actually, I believe that Vegas favored LSU to win it all but lose tonight.

Do you realize Poche gave up more than 3 runs the first time he faced Florida. And that was on normal rest.

So you're entire strategy revolves around Poche throwing without pressure?

Seeing as how his mo his ENTIRE career has been his ability to get OUT of pressure situations, I consider that a bold move.

You are a fricking retard and have no idea what you're talking about

I don't...I'll be surprised if Poche gives up 3 runs or less tomorrow.

And he's a distant cousin of mine I found out this week.

I bet Fla runs their ace out if needed with a pitch count late in game 2 if they are up.... I hope Poche and our sticks come thru if this happens

Poche has already pitched against Florida once this season, and he didn't pitch well, and LSU got crushed. We have no idea if he would have done better, or if he will do better this time around.

Lange isn't going until Game 3 anyways. You might as well throw Poche on as close to normal rest as possible.

Pitching is not the reason we lost this game. At all. Base running mistakes, Watson's poor play on the ball in center field, Kramer throwing the ball home on the tag play (although I don't really blame him for this).

Again, Florida had 6 hits. We could have won that game with the guys we had on the mound. We didn't. It doesn't mean it's the end of the world. We are still in good shape.

Pressure? You mean the team that just won back to back games against a team better than UF?

If LSU loses it won't be because of Poche and pressure.

Well, if they thought that LSU would lose tonight but win it all, I'm guessing that they feel about the same.

Yes, I do

He was our SEC Fri night pitcher a time or two

Our best option, IMO, tonight

It was a worthy debate last night, but after witnessing the game and where Poche and FL are at right now, I wish we had went Poche tonight

Not second guessing. Said it last night

Well good for you. You have no way of knowing if Poche would've won the game tonight tho. It was about 2 weeks ago he couldn't get out of the 4 th innin against Miss State.

Well thanks for letting us know we have no shot the rest of the way. I'll save myself the trouble and catch up on some Netflix shows the next few nights.
