All of this over a hypothetical?

That’s the one thing I cannot get my head around. The SEC is threatening to kick LSU out over a hypothetical rules violation that never occurred. If the SEC wants to show that it can enforce its own rules, then why not wait until one is broken and then try to apply a penalty? You don’t threaten expulsion proactively before any rule is broken. Someone said this in another thread, and they are right. Sankey‘s number one job is to keep the conference together, and he has failed at that. Whether LSU is voted out or not, we would be foolish to not start exploring other options in the background. He has made the SEC far weaker regardless of what happens tomorrow.

thats the easy way out we need to go to knoxville and hang 80 points on them dont let off the gas for anything
