he's AWESOME. i wouldn't trade him for anyone right now.
But wouldn't recent players like Coleman and Bradford be more worthy of this list?

Walker is one of the all time greats in college baseball history. Morris and Fontenot were great but Walker was in a class of his own.

This is a tough, tough thread 'cause there's been so many great players, performances, and seasons.

Not sure how you would weight things to determine a "25 Year" team. Larson had perhaps the best single season in our baseball history but he only played a single season.

Gary Hymel probably deserves some consideration as C.

There is no DH listed on that list. I think you could definitely make a case for Blake Dean at this point.

I made my list into a 25 man roster. Was still very hard to pick.

C Brad Cresse
1B Eddy Furniss
2B Todd Walker
3B Blair Barbier
SS Russ Johnson
OF Lyle Mouton
OF Armando Rios
OF Joey Belle
DH/1B Blake Dean
C Gary Hymel
IF Ryan Theriot
IF Wally Pontiff
OF/1B Brad Hawpe
OF/DH Ryan Patterson

P Ben McDonald
P Chad Ogea
P Paul Byrd
P Lane Mestepey
P Brett Laxton
P Louis Coleman
P Mike Sirotka
P Eddie Yarnall
P Brian Tallet
P Rick Greene
P Matty Ott

I know I left a lot of great ones off, but it's impossible not to.
