The very first time that 4 OL from the same draft class were all drafted.
Could also be that they all just happened to declare the same year
We've probably had offensive lines where all were "eventually" drafted.

I've said if for months now that this was the best OL in LSU history and the draft would prove it, and now it has.
you can keep on saying it, but it doesn't make it true.
They were very good for most of the year at pass blocking, until teams figured out that you could come right up the middle on them.
They were one of, if not THE worst run blocking line I've ever seen at LSU.
You can judge them by being drafted late (outside of LT), I'll judge them by what my own eyes saw the entire year in the running game.

He would get quick pressure from Chester every now and then
LMAO
Starting half way through the A&M game, going into the Alabama game and the Florida game, when our LG got hurt, it was a jail break up the middle on almost every passing play.
Stop lying.

Ole Miss but our fans forget it because he "won" the game.
LMAO.....he was a boss at the end of that game...and not just on one drive. OM was more talented on defense...but he figured it out.

with 3 INTs that were dropped.
LMAO again.....this is the one I always like to see when people are bashing

A&M ended the game at 50% completion with 3 picks.
That is complete BS....LG was hurt during the first half, and did not play the second half. Defense adjusted and started blitzing right up the middle, with almost a free pass to the QB
You are either a QB that is upset because you didn't get to play, or more likely, a family member that thinks their cousin should have been playing over Nuss. There is a reason he is a Heisman hopeful this year, and projected first round pick going into the season. You may have forgotten (or not even knew) that both JB and JD were NOT projected even close to the top of the draft headed into their 5th year.

The coaching/scheme is the question. Said it before Brad can recruit has not shown ability to coach up the guys or toughen them up.
Those hard 1-2yards where everybody is lines up and knows the play. When it’s that situation the OL was pushed back and couldn’t get the 1-3yards to get that drive saving 1st down, TD in the RZ to win versus a FG etc.

4/5 got drafted, the one starter that wasn’t eligible was very clearly the weak link on the line, and if he’s back starting at C, we are in a heap’o trouble.

Most talented, perhaps. Best, no.
The o-line is a unit and must play as one. It is as good as its weakest link, not its strongest.
Give me 5 good o-linemen over 4 greats and one meh.

It was one of the best, but 2019 was better, imo. It did not have the talent at left tackle, but it did have an NFL starter there and at almost every position.

Mubenga was and is the weakest link......and Chester was next

They may have individually been the best but they certainly weren't the best OL unit, not even close. They were disappointing. Blame coach, players, whoever but that's a fact.

Brad is a good recruiter but can he coach them up…this is his year to prove it! If the OL doesn’t gel and play as a unit for both Pass/run block Nuss will really struggle as will the team.
How well did we run the ball when Durham was playing equal snaps and healthy? Granted, that wasn’t very long, but he had 0 issues moving the ball. That wasn’t an accident. He was the only RB we had who actually fit the offense.
We had 1 back with a slow first step and 1 who was always indecisive and playing too heavy. Think back and Emery was the only back that was effective vs USC and it was for the same reason- he was quicker to the hole than Williams or Jackson were.
This year with a backfield of Durham, Berry and Lindsey and a hopefully leaner and more decisive Jackson, we have a collection of players that should all be suited to the scheme and what the OL can do. Just open a few creases in zone blocking and let these guys hit the line fast and find them.

It’s not only this board that thinks he’s bad. He was consistently our worst-graded offensive lineman. I saw that dude knocked on his arse so often last year.
He was a redshirt freshman and according to On3, one of the youngest OL in his class. He 100% wasn’t ready. That doesn’t mean he sucks or that you give up on him if he’s willing to stay and compete.

Sloan better be ready I’d love to see a more seasoned analyst come in for redzone and run game.
Alex Adkins exists my friend, and he’s more than just an analyst. He was brought in to help with the run scheme.

I thought our oline would dominate last year. Did not. Good in pass bad in the run. I am hoping for better this year not worse.
