He basically spouted off a whole bunch of trite, meaningless bullshite.

He's a star college baseball player in the south. I doubt he has a problem in that area.
You'd be surprised. I knew of a star LSU football player from about 10 years ago who, according to his friends, had never been with a girl - and I'm not just talking about getting laid; I mean hadn't made out. And it wasn't because he didn't want to. He just couldn't get out of his own way.

Competitor and Player through and through.
Every game, every inning, every pitch he's looking to dominate the opponent. Have to love that.
Too many kids are taught at a young age these days there are no enemies, everyone is to be loved an respected. Even if they haven't earned either. Can honestly say his attitude makes him a breed apart.

One day I think everyone will wake up and say, "damn, that Twitter thing back in the day was gay as hell." "What were we thinking?" Hate twitter and Facebook fwiw.

I appreciate our team leader's fire and his high expectations from his teammates. I think, though, the place for this kind of "encouragement" is better suited for the lockerroom, the dugout, and the practice field.

This kind of mentality is what's missing from the basketball team.
honestly you're right, hoops team isn't any bad guys but just by a stroke of chance we ended up with no strong personalities on the team, pretty much all of them are passive, im hoping Josh Gray isn't for next season, we need a verbal leader on the court

I couldn't deal with that rah rah stuff. Of course I never amounted to shite so maybe there's a reason.

I agree with him. Lots of kids and even pros are all about individual accomplishments. People forget it's a team game. If you want the glitz and glamour, go play basketball or football.

Bregman gets it. I thoroughly enjoy watching him play the game the right way and works his tail off. He will do great things before his is done with the game of baseball.

For a kid his age, this kid gets it.
