Was thinking this too. As much as we hate kicking field goals over scoring touchdowns, having ICT (Ice Cole Tracey, for the uninitiated) gives us an edge in a close game. Plus, Zach Von Rosenberg has been spectacular and helps us tremendously in the field position battle.

Great read. They smoked tamu for their best win. Tamu is a different team this year.
We need long drives like 2012 to slow the game down.
They have a solid d line and young but improving secondary.
Tua is the difference. He gets in a zone. Bad plays don’t effect him, sack in nc game followed by dropping a dime by looking off coverage.
We will be the best he’s seen, we have to pressure without blitzing too much.

Bama undersized LBs. A Les Miles I formation punishing run game may have worked this year. LSU has to run between tackles to win. And they should be able to.

I don't disagree, but I think people are giving Tua a little too much credit at this point. He hasn't seen any real adversity to this point. If our secondary can frustrate him just a little and make him try to force things it could definitely snowball on him in a hurry in Death Valley.

IMO he's still basically a first year starting QB who has not truly been tested yet.
