Just to be clear.
Our problem you are referring to is empty seats at game time. There's is the kids left at 1/2 time because they were "bored" after seeing the first half mauling of Arkansas.

Wouldn't be surprised if bama locked the gates next time

According to the article, they took away block seating from fraternities and other organizations, and they opened it up to all students. So, they didn't take away any student seating and give it to regular fans. I don't see how LSU doing something similar to this would help much. From my vantage point, the poor attendance in LSU's student section isn't limited to the greeks.

Our fans do the same thing.

Really? Who at Lsu cares. Is this a Bama forum? If so please send me to the LSU one.

Contextual semantics makes it relevant to LSU's current problem. Or are you that dense?
Posted on 10/25/13 at 8:36 pm to HeavyCore
their problem is diff than ours. who wants to go PAY to see bama play when there is a 90% chance they are going to win and an 80% chance its a blowout?

Both sides of the aisle are being little bitches about this. I'm sure half the people here complaining don't go down there to the game but instead sit their fat asses on the couch and watch on espn hd.
The students still buy the tickets. If they want to pay and then wipe their arse with the ticket then so be it. Who cares? Schedule some good opponents and have a good team and they will go. Doubtful that many students will be attending our games next year after seeing the snooze fest home schedule.

Have you been reading the rant at all recently? Our fans have been leaving in droves at halftime or not even showing up at all.
That said, this is not the issue at hand and I won't talk about it anymore as that has been beaten to death recently. The topic is about whether or not LSU should impose a way to punish students not showing up, showing up late, and or leaving early.

Hmmm, I think its a legitimate question, and possible solution, to a problem we have. Do you not see it that way?
We gonna sell those tickets and the expansion tickets to those that aren't already coming to the games?

That is a different and very difficult problem that seems to need more social change than institutional.

This is all because their head coach complained about fans leaving early. Sound familiar?

Just think how bad it would be if they played Fur Man

Bama processes once again

I would suggest that if Bama played a tougher schedule, maybe the students would stay.
Posted on 10/25/13 at 11:10 pm to HeavyCore
But Obama said we could keep our seats, Thanks Obama
Posted on 10/26/13 at 1:45 am to Hurricane Mike
No, we can open them up to all students just like they are doing.

They can chant anything and everything they want up there in the Statosphere. Bring back the full traditional Tiger Rag after every touchdown and Neck. Sell those prime student seats to the public with no TAF fees or surcharges. Fill it with Die Hard LSU fans.
Processed those bitches.

You're beating a team 50-0 and they expect you stay until the very end? I bet Saban sneaks out of church.
