With what? That UT will ever be relevant again? Of course they will. Historically, Tennessee is the 2nd most successful program on the SEC. That isn't an opinion. That is a fact. Florida was garbage until Spurrier started coaching there.

In order it would be Alabama, Tennessee , Georgia, LSU, Auburn and Florida. This is by overall wins.

Once again: Bama/UT Series Record: 48-38-7...that's a lot closer than I realized.

It is beyond belief that Alabama does not play Georgia, South Carolina, or Florida. It is like this every year, Alabama never plays anybody in a row that is any good.

Bama absolutely skull fricked Fla last year... on national TV

Bama just got a little lucky this year with the rotation. USC got unlucky, it happens.

Yes but it doesn't EVER happen for some teams. It is IMPOSSIBLE to EVER have both out of division teams both be good if you play Kentucky or Vanderbilt every year!

LSU has basically a 60% chance of facing two tough east teams and some teams have a 0% chance of facing two tough east teams.

Slice it or dice it however you want but the SEC is taking something that should be fair... could very easily be implemented and making it unfair.

This has always mystified me as well. I just want it equal over time. Florida has a natural recruiting advantage over Tenn and will always be better on average. I got no problem playing Fla every year...long as Bama plays them too.

This was never a problem when Bama was down and Auburn was our main competition in the west...they play Ga every year and I consider that a much more equal opponent.

Bama wants to play Tenn every year? Fine, put them and Auburn in the East and put Fla and Mizzou in the west and see how they like them apples.

Tennessee is the winningest team Alabama could possibly schedule.

Tennessee's historical record against LSU stands for itself.

If LSU doesn't want to play with the big boys the ACC is waiting...

History is largely irrelevant in this case. It's like saying that the Democrats have a shot at winning the next Alabama Gubernatorial race since Dem's have such a great winning percentage over the last 100 years. Bottom line after expansion, permanent opponents need to go.

The way some of these pussies whine about Bama not playing Florida, they should find a team in the ACC and start pulling for them. Unbelievable how many spineless fricks there are that call themselves Tiger fans.

I say concern yourself with things you can control...like pulling for the Tigers no matter who they play!

The way Alabama and the Saban pound machine is rolling over everyone, the Crimson Tide may go undefeated in SEC play this year. But for Tiger fans, like myself, November 3rd is the day of redemption. If you don't beat Bama on that day, then the western division will be decided cause Bama is not going to lose more than 1 SEC game this year. It bothers me to say that.

I don't care for the whining and the "it's not fair" complainers...but the debate does have merit. Cross division scheduling decided the outcome of the East last year.

Georgia has really gotten lucky lately.

But AL-Tenn series is sacred for some reason even though no one else cares about it, so we get stuck with Florida. It isnt fair and doesn't have to be this way.

And for some reason anyone who questions obvious unfairness is considered a pussy now. The curious logic that smiling as you're getting screwed is manlier than not letting yourself get screwed.

Alabama plays @Mizzou, @Tennessee, Miss St, @LSU, Texas A&M in five straight weeks, no bye. Five SEC Ganges in five weeks. What was theOP saying about back to back stuff?
