For those with TV coverage, how close are these outside pitches that AR is throwing. Hawthorne says close, but I take that with a grain of salt.

almost 20 pitches an inning? I guess its not awful but its certainly worse than I would like to see.

How does a pitcher go from striking out 3 or 4 in 2 innings to totally fricking up an inning later with 4 walks and a hit, talk about a lack of concentration.

that inning was a horrid inning filled with mistakes and bad calls.

fwiw the strike zone was jumping around. landry struck out looking and then AR throws the same pitch and its a ball.
