but how did New Orleans let this happen last night.

portions of new orleans, especially the quarter, has proven time and time again that it will whore itself to the highest bidder. get used to it, trashy arrogance has always been in vouge in the SEC and the addition of atm has only amped up that dynamic.

Say what you want. LSU couldn't never pull something like that off when the Tigers already have 2 losses and basically playing a meaningless game on the road

This. We have a hard enough time getting our fans to go to home games when we have 2 or more losses. I expect there to be anywhere from 10-15K Aggies in the stadium today.

At this point? True, but if we were perennial cellar dwellers of a lesser conference then suddenly experienced some success in our new conference with a possible two time heisman winner, yeah our fans would be excited too.

Success can certainly make fans less excited about success. It's still new to the aggies though. Next year they will finish 6th or 7th in he West.

LSU fans aren't typically running to New Orleans the night before an LSU home game.

I will tell you how this happened.

BR sucks and people who can afford it tend to stay in nola for lsu games...this has been true from bama to vtech.

nola is an lsu town, but I assure you none of us our going to get decked out in purple and gold amd walk bourbon the jight before a game in BR.

Bars like to make money...texas offered and they took it. No one from lsu is renting a whole bar for this game. Its not whoring out; its capitalism.

anyone who can't see this needs a serious reality check.

Local LSU fans don't go to Bourbon street. Let the Aggies have it (and thanks to them for leaving their money behind).
