WKU actually had a game plan in place. If you notice, the team goals were 2 first downs each drive and a defensive score. They were pretty successful achieving this. Also notice, they were running as much time off the clock as possible between each play. The goal wasn't too win, it was to avoid a 40+ pt beat down.

With that said, they hit their goals by playing a somewhat flat LSU team. And it was a good wake-up call that there is a LOT more football to be played.

We were playing a DII school following our toughest opponent of the year.
I thought WKU was in Division I Football Bowl Subdivision.

Think its time to post a rant for therapy donations to all you whacko's. Coach knows exactly what he is doing and this team is freakin awesome. If they win out, they are going to be one of the great teams in the history of college football. Sit back, enjoy the ride or schedule a session with Dr. Phil!

I'm pretty sure they're FCS. I call that DII.

ETA: FBS since '08. Sorry.

They're potentially going to win the Sun Belt, a FBS conference.

Arky and UGA would be tough games regardless; they happen to be pretty good teams. Same with Okie St. if we hook up with them in the NC. Regardless I'm confident we have a good shot at beating the Hogs and Dawgs; what more can you ask for at this point?
