Velocity is overrated. If the ball hits the receiver in the hands, then it should be a completion.
Sometimes it requires the QB to zip it in there. Sometimes it does not. Nuss threw catchable passes last night on over 90 percent of his throws.

I think the injury is more healed than even he believed. First drive or 2 he wasn’t putting much on the ball. Maybe he realized hey this doesn’t hurt like it did. Seems he started slinging it again after that.

Do you have any reading comprehension? He’s talking about velocity. And it was pretty clear that Nuss wasn’t throwing the ball with as much velocity as in the past. Hopefully he can heal some more and regain a little zip.

At the very beginning of the game he had one or two looping throws that were worrisome. But then he started slinging it
