Alabama lost on the field. LSU won on the field.

Alabama played at home, good for at least 3 points, probably more. No advantage in the dome.

Saban recruited the kickers that Bama has. Miles recruited the kickers who play for LSU.

The interception call was CONFIRMED on the field. The correct call was made by the official.

If Ford had not stepped out of bounds in OT (he was not pushed) we are probably not having this conversation because LSU wins 12-6 by scoring a touchdown.

Finally, Miles outcoached Saban and Miles is inside Saban's head. Will be the same for the championship game.

There should be no backlash against Bama. Why should there be? The system we have allows this whole set up. If you don't like the system change it otherwise don't complain.

The sureness you refer to is actually a measure of how angry and outraged LSU fans are. I think the Tigers feel the same way.

I think they play with cool heads but intensely painful blows.

Close, but our crazy-assed big-headed damn strong football coach has already told us the game will be played with "speed and violence" and contact will be "sincere".

Not being able to listen to Les Miles' weekly pressers is one of the worst parts of the off-season.

also dont forget RR dropped pass in the back of the end zone AND Shep catching the pass and falling down at the 5. Bama got to the LSU 18 ONCE and got pushed back...never came close to sniffin a TD

The interception was a pretty good sniff, which is what made it the play of the year to me.

Now you see it .... now you don't

This, but I'm with O'Reilly.

This won't be easy. This may be more gut wrenching than Nov 5th was....

BUT...

Something tells me karma is going to come back to bite Bama/Media/espn's arse. I don't know. Just the whole manner in which this "rematch" was approached and Bama's entitled attitude this week leading up to the game. For some reason, I feel like Bama/ESPN have put more than enough attention on themselves that they are setting up for a major letdown. I hope my gut is right.

It would be a damn shame to lose the crystal football to a team in your conference/division that you already beat.

This would be like telling Green Bay after they won the Super Bowl last year that they had to play the Bears/Vikings/Lions again. It makes no fricking sense to those of us with common sense. Then again, nothing with the media and their darlings in CFB ever does.

I'm hoping that the national media starts picking on Alabama and Nick Saban for ruining the BCS title game.

They'll be running their mouths about how it should have been OK State and how they would have hung 50 on the Tigers.

Yep, it will never be resolved sounds just like what we had before the BCS

Besides the Outrage I feel about BSPN and all this BS

If we played OSU, there would still be shite from the gumps and gump supporters but we could always argue the game was played in their house.

I actually think LSU wins big in the dome. I don't think Alabama deserves to be in the title game since we beat them once already on their home field.

I'd like to see a rule in the bcs title game that you cannot be in the bcscg unless you've won your conference championship or get rid of the bcs and just have a plus one game after the traditional bowl match ups.

Alabama didn't even win its division. Heck you can argue that Michigan State is more deserving of the bcs title game than Alabama.

Good God. It doesn't matter what anybody says. If you win the championship, why would you care what anyone says?

You must not remember the days before the first matchup then. I even organized a logo bet that involved 50+ people.

That's how sure I was LSU would win. I remain so.
