No way Bammer will be in the top 4, and their strength of schedule argues against them getting into the playoffs. I don't think the rest of the country will buy their snake oil again, especially after the way they got steam rolled in the Ship last year. They have lost their luster.

Bama has become the Notre Dame of modern football. They always have to be in the conversation, even after they lose, and there has to be a conversation about how do “we” (media) work them back into the championship discussion.

Gotta say... If their only loss is against us, that is an impressive season.

Lets not discount how good we are. Bama hung with us better than anyone else has. In other words, bama almost beat the best team in the country.

I think the committee is going to have a dillema on their hands though. Lots of sec teams deserve to be in the hunt

In the end, none of the talking heads BS matter.

Anyone worth their salt can clearly see LSU is special & very worthy of #1 ranking.

4 Top Ten wins before playing any Championship Games...unprecedented.

Coach O has done a great job building LSU’s program back to being a powerhouse.

Bama picked a cupcake non conference schedule. If you win out you get in but when you lose you need to get penalized for your easy schedule

This is why Bama doesn’t belong in the top 4.

Playing competitive opponents causes teams to lose players to injury. Bama’s starters have been yanked mid 3rd Qtr all year long.

Hey, congrats on the cupcake slaughters. But Bama hasn’t EARNED the right to Top 4. It’s more than just having talented players.

That is his job working for sec

A single point needs to be driven home ...

They have 1 top 50 win (tx am) to date ..auburn would make 2 eventually.

Rinse and repeat

How can you argue they should be ranked ahead of Minnesota or Baylor, at this point?

If bama backdoors into the playoff again, there will be a national uproar and it will be changed to an 8 team playoff very soon.

You can’t, but since they are Alabama and Minnesota is Minnesota people won’t see through it.

Texas, Auburn and Florida were all closer. Bama was close for about 8 minutes in 4Q

As I recall, did not the committee state that it would place more importance on winning a conference championship? LSU can. Ohio St. can. Clemson can. Oregon can. UGA possibly can. bama needs 2 LSU losses to even get a chance at playing for it. As for Finebaum, he will spend the coming weeks all over ESPN pimping bama.

ESPN needs Bama to look like a contender for the CFP for rating purposes.

If Auburn were to beat them too ESPN would melt.

Joe is not a bad choice at all but for this game I go with Clyde.

Over 100 on the ground, 77 receiving and 4 TDs

Little Nicky cleverly designs Bama schedule so they play LSU, Auburn, and 8 schools for the blind. It finally backfired on the little prick. They out!!!

They use subjective eye ball tests.

Hell...even their “analytics” like that retarded ESPN power index still has Alabama ahead of LSU after the just lost on their home field.

Well, if Todd Harris wasn't hurt, if Divinity hadn't quit, if Billy Cannon was still playing.....

honeslty we spotted them some scores... they really cant say the same except for turnovers... and those werent spotted, our offense scored on drives... they had a special teams TD, and two touchdown passes that were fluke plays... the last TD and the TD where they faked a snap count... both on stingley.... we play them again stingley will ball out... those were just freshman mistakes.. stingley is still the man and will be a top 5 tiger of all time... the game shouldnt have been as close as what it was... we play them on a neutral field its over... they cant stop the offense for 4 qtrs.... we started maming adjustments in the 4th qter to their halftime def adjustments...

had not Tua fumbled on the opening drive, it would have been a different game for Bama!

meh. they would've gotten three and then we probably would've gone for it on that fourth and less than 1. And had we not missed an extra point, then we wouldn't have been going for 2.

Wishes and buts.

Impressive season? They haven’t beaten a team yet that has a winning record.
