can't argue with that.

100% agree

Nothing to do with PLAYCALLING! NOTHING!

Would disagree here. It had SOME to do with playcalling, becasue it wasn't a secret our pass protection wasn't holding, so why try three passes to ice the game when it was the most difficult thing for your offense to do. I didn't have a problem running it at the end of the bama game becasue their offense couldn't move on our defense and a FG puts you up by 6 and 42 is easily makable for Alleman, so I didn't have a problem there because if you played the averages, you would expect that a team that hasn't moved the ball all half wouldn't get a TD on your defense, however, against Clemson, the averages were that your QB was going to get hit 2 out of 3 passes and potentially take a sack. 1st down call was great, 2nd probably should've run, but the pay worked just wasn't executed. 3rd down you were pretty much committed to passing or trick play.

That said, even an idiot's hindsight is 20/20. On to 2013!

So I guess nearly $7MM in annual coaching salaries shouldn't be responsible for teaching proper technique, or footwork, or how to pick up a C stunt, or be properly conditioned to play a full in game in perfect weather conditions? Or have practiced and supervised your QB for the past 1 1/2 years in the correct method of throwing a roll out pass INTO THE FLAT. Then again, if you thought you only needed a pocket passer to be successful, I guess you wouldn't have practiced roll out passes 10,000 times in the past 18 months that ZM has been on campus, like should have been done.

Not asking for LM's head, just do what he expects his players to do - get better every practice and every game and every year. Manage better, coach better, recruit better (mainly character issues), hire better, etc.

Now when I say the players... I am speaking specifically to the Clemson game.....

I think most of us were pretty content with the season.... All wanted more, but at the end of the day it was a successful season.....

After Clemson, this board blew up!.....

And playcalling? 3rd and 2?... job was to get the first...... they had it... right in front of them... and unfortunately, the guys couldn't finish..... You know what... It happens with 18-22 year olds..... ask their girlfriends, sometimes they Miss......

100% agree. The inferiority complex of our fans is disgusting honestly. It manifests itself as hatred for imperfection, which is unreasonable/irrational at best. This is why they try to run off every coach or QB.

It is what is. I generally enjoy to talk LSU football with anyone and I love to argue but I don't understand it. Some folks hate prosperity. Look at Nebraska and Frank Solich as a perfect example.

I couldn't disagree with you more!

I've seen Alabama execute on O to a very high degree the last two NC's. They looked like they spent their off time productively.

I've seen LSU O look like it was the first day of practice the last two bowl games. They looked like they jacked around during the off time.

That IS coaching, pure and simple.

Miles and Co. should be ashamed of the O's performance.

It was a bad loss, but Clemson ran 102 plays to our 48. They had 450+ yrds to our 220.

Yet still, they had to kick a last second FG to beat us. Obviously, we were the more talented team that just didn't get it done at the crucial time in the game. Same as the Bama game. Like we've all said a thousand times...if we had consistenly decent passing game, we'd be almost unbeatable.
