I am an LSU fan. A frustrated LSU fan. I find it very disturbing that our cornerback/return man has accounted for more yardage than our starting QB who has 42 rushing attempts to pad his stats.

79 passing attempts and 42 rushing attempts and has combined for less than 500 yards total offense.

You realize that's on average 20 passing attempts and 8 rushing attempts a game and can't accumulate 125 yards of offense out of it? That's unacceptable and he needs to sit. Period.

i'm just pointing out that the Lee pain train was pretty bad last year also

you can't fall back to defending him saying he was just bad his RS frosh year

and i already said i want to see what lee gives us. i just don't have much hope in lee either

well if we somehow beat UF this year (it's still very possible), the PP for heisman talk at least will be huge based on that fact

At this point, I'm ready to start Lee. I'd have him on a relatively short leash.

Why? The leash that JJ is on is apparently about from here to the moon.

You have to give him a fair shot. If you're going to have a short leash that means that you could pull him for playing slightly better than JJ

It will be interesting to continue tracking the PP vs JJ stats

It's not out of the question that this could hold up for several more weeks, particularly if the other team scores more and PP gets a few more touches.

I agree 100% Powerman. I don't see where have much of a choice.

I think what we should do, is everytime the other team scores, make three tries to Patrick Peterson for the homerun and punt..if the other team doesn't score, we keep running our option monkey fricking a football bullshite.

and if teams keep kicking it to PP

i will say this...PP fields some risky punts knowing he is quick enough to make that first guy miss

The missing yardage that gets created from the short kicks on kickoffs is huge as well

Holy shite this would be a national championship team with Josh Booty at QB

Touchdowns:

Jefferson-3
Peterson-2

Is that correct?

It better get figured out this week because we don't have time to "figure it out" at the swamp.

well, even though things changed a bit this past week, UF's offense can be worse than our offense

they score from their ST and D still. if we don't turn it over, and our D plays like it has been, it will be close

I agree it should be close

The thing that scares me is they have big play potential out of their running game with Demps.

I'm confident we can contain their passing game and for the most part their running game as well. I just know they have home run potential with the running game.

And I believe they lead the country in interceptions. That does not bode well at all for a team that's having serious QB issues.

well we have big play potential with shep still in the running game...if we can figure out a better way to use him

the QBs for miami(oh) and USF are fricking horrible and turnover prone...just to throw that out there

JJ hasn't thrown too many picks that were his fault that mattered this year. it's one of the main problems of our passing attack (protecting the ball too much).

The way I look at it, this should make PP a LOCK for heisman right now

There really is no reason why PP shouldn't be in the discussion

IF JL is the option this week is the week to check it out. UAB passed for 400 yards against Tenn. Surely, we can crack the 100 mark. Give him a game or even a half and let the offense run and see what we can churn up before a very beatable UF game.

I agree

Lee has to start this week if we're serious about competing for the SEC

Let him play the first half and if he plays well keep him in until the game is well in hand
