Advice for LSU / Texas game...

Hey guys, I posted back in June that I'm bringing some of my English friends and my son to their first LSU game in a few weeks (I haven't been to a game since 2004). We are staying off Siegen and I-10. We have a tailgate invite but wondering about the best way to get back to the hotel after the game...uber or should I pay for a parking pass?

Come early and park for free behind U-High. Uber can be a nightmare and that parking area is an easy walk. Exit on Dalrymple after the game.

If LSU loses again before then it’ll be a non issue

Be prepared for it to take 3-4 hours either way

You can Uber to the game easy enough but will have to walk back after the game. Ubers are not going to fight post-game traffic. Parking pass is the best way to go or find some of the free lots.

I wouldn't suggest trying to get an Uber from campus after the game. That will be next to impossible. Go hang out at Walk Ons for a bit after and wait for traffic to die down.

I am going to give hotel advise, be safe where you are staying. A lot of drugs in that Siegen/I-10 area. The hotels aren't the best.
