Failure to correct obvious mistakes in game plan, personnel and special teams until it is too late.

I've exhausted the examples time and time again but here are a few:

They haven't found a way to get the ball to Trindon in space this season.

Chevis as PR for too long.

Crappunt.

Lack of blitz/effective pressure on opposing QBs, especially ones that are susceptible to being rattled with adequate pressure.

Allowing players to take plays off with no repurcussions.

Allowing players to take (late) swats at the heads of opposing QBs, costing us a game, and not being benched the next week.

Allowing a complete lack of discipline, control and leadership to be fostered.

Not removing RP until it was too late.

Maybe it's just me. Again, I support Coach Miles and will be a supporter until he's gone. I have noticed some things though.

Some of you protect Miles like he's your own family member. Some of you get very defensive when someone makes a comment that may question something he does. Funny, I never noticed that when Nick Saban was here and lost to UGA 45-16 or Florida 20-7...it was a free for all on those days. This is not a Saban/Miles comparsion. I am just pointing out that some of you feel that Miles should have only blessings said about him.

He sticks his finger in his ear! They make headsets that cover both ears!

P.S. Actually I love Les. I just thought that this statement would be just as relevant as some of the inane profundities I have seen here!

That all of the "superior coaching minds" on this board can't seem to leave the man alone no matter what he does!!

Pisces, I think it is ok to criticize but not to the point of absurdity. Sure, there have been disappointments this year. But the man won a national championship last year! He works his arse off in recruiting so I just think we need to lighten up. We are 7 and 3 (in a down year)and that is not bad considering the situation that the idiot Perrilloux place us in because of his lack of self control. This is not the first rodeo for Les. He will make the necessary corrections but he is not perfect.

I was talking with my friend earlier and this is what we believe, yet no one will admit it.

Lots of people are pretending to convince themselves that they're over Nick Saban and that he was an average coach. To do that, they have to justify their loyalty to Les Miles. It's an insecurity thing. I promise you that many of the Miles loyalists who criticize anyone for criticizing are trying to block out the fact that their former favorite coach left LSU and came back to a rival.

I respect Les Miles. He loves his players and he has defined loyalty. Do I think he's a better football coach than Saban (not friend, counselor, nicer person, tougher in spirit)? No...I don't. I also do not think Paul Maineri is a better coach than Skip Bertman, but hey...it ain't all that bad is it?

The man won a 2-loss National Championship, it's not like he's Knute Rockne.

He's a decent coach who needs to surround himself with quality guys or he won't succeed. The problems with the players out of position, younger players not grasping the playbook, Perrilloux, etc. are functions of the same problem. Discipline.

He wears his hat to high on his head, other than that I like him, cause he is a DARN GOOD football coach.
