You go ahead, I'm good.

former OU head coach Barry Switzer told Buddy Diliberto and me when we did the pregame radio show for WWL-Radio for LSU vs. Oklahoma for the national title back in early January of 2004. Barry told us, “Guys, the team you last saw in late November and early December, you never see again. Either you get better or you get worse.

Nothing stays the same. Distractions of the holidays, players looking at the NFL and who they train with, early defections to the NFL, coaches looking for other jobs and just being told you are the best gets to some teams. The coaches that can keep their teams focused the best, they win

Sad that you have become a nega-tiger

Everybody else is full of positives right now, so the only way to stir stuff up is to be negative. He was always negative, just hiding behind pictures and spam Twitter stories.

Well, I suppose we could have skipped out on the playoffs and took a trip to a regular bowl game. Then our schedule could remain the same.

Why is it that the haters are such drama queens?

I guess your strange emotional makeup is what made you such a staunch hater in the first place.

Ree, let us know if the stadium made any adjustments to the concentration of rubber pellets in the turf. We need to be prepared for the slipping of last game and adjust our cleats if necessary.

So, what I'm gathering from that last post, plus your concerns, is that you seem to not have much faith in Orgeron to keep this team focused and ready.

Big ole nega Tiger, you are.

Will do. That is one of the good things about going early - getting to practice on the field all week.

Yep, I'm the hater. I'm the one that started a negative, panic thread. I'm the one who is implying that I have no faith in Orgeron to keep this team focused.

Unfortunately, Oklahoma gets to practice on the field early as well, negating our potential advantage of having played on that turf already. Though of course, practice speed isn't game speed.

Drama, Drama, Drama Queen!!!!

Quit freaking out Qeenie.

quote:

LSU has played Jalen Hurts before and he’s a better passer today than as a freshman, but LSU’s offense will roll in this game and their defense has gotten much better in getting pressure on the QB and stopping the run in the final few games. LSU wins by more than 17 over the Sooners.

I think what gets underrated is how focused Ed Orgeron and the coaching staff have gotten this team to play week in and week out. Their total focus is on the Sooners.

Hopefully Atlanta keeps Oklahoma’s staff out of the press box’s from filming our practices like Bama did in New Orleans in 2011.

Frankly, I'm surprised they are even in Atlanta so early. I thought the original plan, per O, was to give the players a few days off for Christmas. The fact that they are practicing at all on 12/24 and 12/25 is more than expected.

I don’t think they really had a say on when they could get to ATL.. The CFP/NCAA(maybe) sets the schedule..
