The aerial view of the ending shows the fog really well.

2019 was incredible, no doubt about it. But it had been so long since we have had a night like last night in Tiger Stadium

THIS. 2019 was incredible but the best games weren't in Tiger Stadium with the exception of UF 9which was damn fun and loud). Auburn was a day game and was somewhat boring to be honest. Aggie and Arkansas were down that year and were total blowouts. Bama, OM, Georgia, OU, Texas were all away from TS.

took it in without my phone in my hand, this was personal and it needed to be seen with the naked eye,

This!! I have like 4 pictures from that night and there were all taken at it was all starting to die down. Somethings need to be experienced without having a peice of plastic and glass in between you and it and that's been lost on us as a society.

I was a student from 2007-2011. The florida game in 07 from the student section has always stood as the pinnacle of Tiger stadium to me, and last night it was upended...and it wasn't close.

In an age of delcining in person attendance numbers, people treating game like a social media photoshot and all that, death valley was PACKED... the student section was packed so full they were standing in the asiles and it seemed not a damn one of them left early. Eeverything about that night was increadible.

Random aside...I have season tickets and a tailgate, but this was the first game I've made since my now 4 month old son was born. I bought him a plush Mike, by Mike's habitat that lived in my pocket that day and night..... I don't think he'll ever know how special it is...but it is.

Was it actually fog or was it the smoke settling from the fireworks when the game was won? I want there but looked the latter on TV. Very cool if it truly was fog though
You can see from the aerial video there was some fog but it was mostly smoke.

In another post last night I talked about how the dense fog added to the surreal atmosphere the night it rained oranges against Florida State in 1982.

When I was on the field after the game there was a fine fine mist coming down.

It was foggy but the aerial shots after the game show the big plume of “fog” that was hanging over the SE part of the stadium was actually fireworks smoke that was falling in the humid air instead of blowing away. Looked very cool nonetheless

That is so cool, mine is also too young to bring. I can’t wait to experience a game like Saturday with him. I did bring my niece to her first game, as well as my dad, brother and his fiancée who had never experienced a big game at LSU. We will all remember it for the rest of our lives.

I normally am not one to record live events on my phone, but I wanted to have this one. This was our view of the play from the NE corner. You can see the fog off the lights of the west upper as I’m jumping up and down like a fool. I’ve watched this a hundred times already.
