Let's be real, LSU doesn't throw the ball. LSU will run the ball and control the clock to keep UCF's offense off of the field. Burrow will be around his normal 50% completion.

My prediction:

9/19 for 93 yards. 1 TD.
8 carries 37 yards.

Team Rushing: 429 yards 4 TDs

Let me clarify. In any normal game, LSU is shite at passing the ball. We have the 80th ranked passing offense in the nation.

With that fact in mind, along with the fact that UCF has the 117th ranked rush defense in the nation, in this bowl game, LSU should especially not be expected to pass the ball.

We also have a patch-work defense that we'll be fielding. It would be smart to run the ball, keep the clock moving, and try to keep our defense off of the field. ESPECIALLY since UCF runs an up-tempo offense that executes a frick-ton of plays when they're rolling.

So, why would we try to pass the ball, again?

Better?

You've seen the game plan?

Brossette or CEH will have to couple that with more 100 yards rushing if we are to win.

Bumping this to eat my crow.

I never saw that coming. I thought we'd be able to run at will. Controlling the clock was critically important, and I was surprised as hell that we did it by completing passes.
