A&M and Missouri are not in the same division, and are not cross-division permanent rivals. That means A&M and Missouri will only play one year out of every six. Your proposal would leave A&M and Missouri with an open date the final weekend of the season (which no coach would want) five years out of six, unless the Horns relent. Decisions are made based on reality, not wishful thinking.

You've fought the good fight on a lot of posts and brought real knowledge in the end of season scheduling issue.
Thanks. I just hate to see people speculating on things that can't happen. Much prefer to talk about things which actually might come about.

aTm need not count its "chicken before they hatch." Sumlin is still what he was at Houston. Yall tried a "quik fix," because even Mack Brown was killing the Aggies, in recruiting. Sherman was an honest HC, and he partook of no shenanigans.

The hiring of Sumlin has changed the "poles", in Aggieland.

I'd keep a close eye on that group you just hired, and would not be too pre-occupied about when you play the Tigers and Longhorns.....just a little warning.

Are you suggesting that A&M is cheating? What's that saying about glass houses and throwing stones?

Also, there's a 0% chance this series is moved to the first game of the season.

I hate the fact that they are moving the A&M game to Thanksgiving. I guess I should like it because it's an easy win and I don't have to stress over Arkansas, they always give us fits. I just thought A&M would be more fitting as a homecoming game.
