Somehow I missed your post earlier. Greg loved the Basin more than most, and he authored a few books, so not out of the realm of possibility!

Have three of his books. Amazing basin photos and stories. Sad he is gone.

My father played on the White Team on the 58 team and I have his NC ring. So plain compared to the rings these days. I have it until I pass and then will pass it on to my nephews. I would never ever get rid of it.

I love how they felt the need to add the "0" in the tie column to the ring. How football has changed.

I have a few of his books and other things. He had an amazing collection of sinker cypress that he’d salvaged from the Basin. I wish I’d bought some from him.
