A reasonable and rational thread about Saturday's game

I will start.
This is a very important game for LSU. I will take any kind of win (pretty or ugly), because any loss will be ugly and could foreshadow a very tough season.
The team seems to be playing better, even if you account for the strength of CMU. They need to play significantly better if they are to successful negotiate the tough SEC schedule.
LSU cannot afford a "loss to a bad team." It needs a couple of victories against better teams to have a good season.
I still think LSU will lose 1 or 2 games, but no more. I think it will have a respectable seasons IF injuries do not start to become a bigger problem.

Leach is going to attack our linebackers all night and no adjustments will be made. If the game plan going in doesn’t work, we fricked baw.

Probably but the LBers haven’t been an issue in the passing game the last 2 weeks. The crossing route issue may show up again but I really feel like they have that figured out.

I am nervous about this game. We are the better team, but this is not the greatest of match-ups for us. The best way to handle State's offense is to go zone, hammer the receivers after the catch, and eat up turnovers. Zone defense is just not our forte.
I guess we will all see what our D is made of.
