They could fall into a barrel of boobs and would come out sucking their thumbs.
RIP, Hokie

How did he give a quote about this team?

In 1984, Hokie as a Saint led the NFL in rushing average with 6.0 per carry. This was in the era when defenses were built to stop the run.
That year had some all-time greats, too. Eric Dickerson (a record 2100+ yards), Walter Payton, John Riggins, Marcus Allen, Tony Dorsett, etc. and ratio-wise, Hokie was outpacing them all. Beast!

While eating lunch with friends yesterday, Hokie’s name came up, his Mom had passed away, a few weeks back.

Another Great Tiger
Hokie was a treasure. We lost him way too soon.
One of my favorites is when Rams punt returner Az Zahir Hakim dropped the punt that sealed the Saints first ever playoff victory: “I had a knot in my belly, and it wasn’t from last night’s Mexican!”
