Kind of reflects their lackluster fanbase lately.

I say if you don't want your season tickets, give em up. I want to upgrade and move down into the bowl. I have been in the WU since 2003 as a season ticket holder, upgrading 1 or 2 seats over to the right then a couple of rows down.

Give up your tickets to those who enjoy LSU.

Heard this crap before no one cares about you getting better tickets or the lackluster of the fan base. Nothing is wrong with the fan base we support LSU every game so don't bring your weak arse stuff in this thread. I just want LSU football to be exciting again and this year is not so far

I never thought I'd say this, but fans expecting to be in the National Title game every year is what takes the fun out of it.
Fans expect to see a well oiled team that competes hard and looks like it belongs on the field with the big boys. They don't expect NC's every year. you, along with a few others, are reaching and misrepresenting the facts by going to extremes. You must play on the poli board with the conservabots.

Good grief. What are you, stuck in the 1950's or something. You are one of the worst posters on this site, you provide nothing to the discussion but drivel.

Sonnyboy, you and your video game mentality friends are the biggest jokes around. I see my standard advice is once again needed for all of you who need a shot of reality.

You will not win every game every year. Period.

The game you do win you will not shut out every opponent nor will you double them up in stats.

There are NO cheat codes in football.

Grow up, sonnyboy.

Same thing at Florida. Offense struggles and only wins by a small margin. Just not fun like it used to be.

"La Tech...doesn't need an explanation. Probably the worst showing in Tiger Stadium by an LSU team since the Curley Hallman years. A complete clusterfrick and a stain on the Les Miles tenure."

NOPE -- that would be LOSING TO UAB under Saint Nick.... sorry.... fail

"Conclusion: The last 2 years of Les Miles at LSU has sucked the oxygen out of the room. LSU football is no longer fun. "

I'm pretty sure you don't know what the word conclusion means...regardless, it was not Les Miles who sucked the life out of LSU football, it was people like you who are too ignorant to understand that LSU is not the only school in the NCAA trying to win a few games...Let's see, we've got Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Auburn and Tennessee with similar facilities and usually more money...this is only in the SEC!!

LSU has the worst academics of any major football power, our state has the least money of any state in the union, and our people have the smallest brains in America, yet we have someone found a way to win a couple of BCS trophies...how about shut up and enjoy it?

We are in the best years ever of LSU football and still have morons complaining about it...the morons are a product on the internet and ESPN hype and aren't smart enough to enjoy what we've got, but listen to bone heads on ESPN telling them that they're not really having fun unless the force the NCAA to start a playoff system so they can make more money...

grow up kids...you can't win it all every year...

cheers!

Ole War Skule --- well said...

I had a good friend trying to be "realistic" a week or so ago say, "LSU should be able to win the NC every 4 years or so.." --- I said -- dude that would be beyond phenominal performance... case in point -- Joe Pa -- 2 titles, Bowden -- 2 titles .. THE two winningest coaches in college football history -- over 70 years coaching between them ... a grand total of 4 NC's.

IF LSU football could manage to PLAY in the NC game 1 time every 10 years -- that would still surpass all but the most recent 7 years of LSU football history.... so yeah, get real.

A realistic goal is to be competive for the SEC WEST every year - win it with some regularity and play in BCS bowls -- IF that leads to playing in the BCSNCG once in a while -- we are doing VERY well.

another example -- UF dominated the 1990's -- but was largely absent for the next 7 years or so -- now they are UP again... but will come back down to earth, no doubt... same with Bama - it comes and it goes - there are too many good teams and good coaches for anyone to dominate long term in the SEC.

I have to disagree with us winning by a small margin. I'd rather see a game that is close and basically a battle. How fun is it if one or the other team comes in and there is just domination

Even if the tigers lose, I like seeing close games. Granted, I want our team to win, but remember the...was it Miss State and Ole Miss? what like 8 or 9 OT's...

NOW THAT IS FOOTBALL!!

I think a guy earlier pointed something out to me, our expectations is as if we are used to playstation mentality...life isn't perfect. A screw up leading to a pick 6 or whatever is all in the game. We should play with attitude and battle every play...

LSU IS FUN! SEC is FUN!

Please shut the frick up about UAB. Yes, the game was depressing as I was there too. Our program was in a completely different place 9 years ago when Saban took over. It was his second game as LSU's coach with the team having won a grand total of 7 out of its previous 22 games. Funny, same as Lee's completion percentage against Tech. That team had a losing attitude left over from the DiNardo years.

the life started getting sucked out of it last year after the Bama game, I just started complaining last week.

Makes no sense at all and is irrelevant to putting a good product on the field. If anything, this should make for more competitiveness and a better product.

You sound like you are one of the small brains in Lafayette with this reasoning. I'm from La. and a product of the LSU system and I'm very successful and 'large brained' person.

I was enjoying it up until a few weeks ago, that was the whole point of the post.

This has absolutely nothing to do with the argument, makes no sense, and has no relevance whatsoever. I have no idea what the frick you are even talking about.

Even if it's equally as bad as UAB that's still a sorry showing, so in essence, you fail, because by trying to show how much you know about LSU football history, you actually helped me make my point.

We're definitely not a sexy team anymore. If I were not such a big fan of LSU, it would be difficult to watch most LSU games (and I'm a guy who will watch almost any college football game).

I think the biggest issue is that our offense just never gets into any kind of rhythmn. The defense, although improved, also plays a pretty bland style to watch.

The Florida game this year was more hyped than all but a few games in LSU's history, and had a huge viewing audience. America saw a very boring game.

Hard to blame this completely on coaching since the 2007 team was one of the most exciting teams ever.
