LSU has more 'talent' than anyone except for USC. However, USC hasn't capitalized on this overwhelming amount of talent since they lost to Texas. They have been underachieving ever since. LSU has been guilty of doing this same thing, but not to that extent. Which players are better coached? Which players are better disciplined? Which players are better motivated? CMON STanford?!?!

We are about on Par with these schools.

USCw?
On potential, probably. On proven performance and raw talent, LSU and USCw are too close to call.

Florida?
Their only edge is Tebow, and we're better defensively.

Georgia?
Playing well as a team, yes. More talented, no.

Oklahoma?
Though they are still missing some pieces, OU is as talented as the top four or five SEC teams. Not more talented than LSU, but comparable.

Ohio St?
Again, playing well as a team, yes. More talented than LSU, definitely not. They have fewer questions at QB and CB than do we, but we still have a demonstrably more talented team than any in the Big X.

Auburn?
Auburn is not even the most talented team in the state, though they are likely to beat several teams that are "more talented" than they are. Maybe the best team in the SEC, but with only the fourth or fifth best talent. (Coaching counts for something.)

USCw probably has a slight talent advantage.
UGA and Florida have talent which is equivalent to LSU's.
LSU likely has a slight talent advantage over OSU.
And LSU is vastly more talented that Auburn, which is why it drives me to insanity that they always give us a battle. Tubby's teams tend to transcend their own talent. He is a good gameplanner.
