Which is why Alvin Kimble has no use for Jindal nor Blanco, and the obtuse aloof actions they took in strong arming the BOS and denying folks like himself that truly love LSU and it's best interests.

LSU DESERVES EVERY BIT OF THIS TRAIN WRECK!!

Well, don't tell us who said that shite about that little bitch JBE when the election happened. What did you expect. Liberal as little bitch who gives 2 shits about LSU. He is a West Point guy. That's it. He might have a Law degree, but that doesn't mean shite.

I don’t have any reason to doubt what you say, but the factions, the politics, the infighting have always been there. I went to LSU in the 70s. It was no secret then - or now; sometimes it’s less obvious; sometimes moreso. It’s a damn shame, and it ain’t new.

The factions in any organization are less of a factor when you're winning.

Agree. No one forced us to hire O. Allleva was the “search”. You can’t blame politics for this.

Sounds about right...

Fire O but Alleva still AD;
Fire Alleva but F King is LSU President,
Fire F King, JBE still Govenor...

LSU is stuck and will not be a good environment the next 3-4 yrs.

3 trial lawyers

Ok....so just to make sure the list is growing accurately .....LSU losing is the fault of 1) Les Miles, 2) Ed O, 3) Joe Alleva, 4) F. King Alexander, 5) the fans, 6) the players, 7) NFL attrition, and now.....8) the trial lawyers. How long before we add food additives to the list, or foreign made cars?

Dear Lord in Heaven......this is the worst melt I have ever seen.

Fairly obvious politics have hurt our university. And in this scenario you have years before you can cut off the head. Gotta dissect the body. Start with Alleva. No one will shed a tear. Booster need to put F King on notice.

The problem is deeply political, institutional and CONSTITUTIONAL.
The first problem is we cannot adequately and efficiently fund higher education b/c of the state Const.
And we can't get great leadership without adequate funding, and we still have to get politics out the hiring process.
And besides the Gov. we have a BOS which is entirely political and unqualified.
The last time I looked the BOS was still under the control of Jindal appointees (who approved F. King) until next year.
Change has to take place at the top, then fire F. King, Alleva and Coach Zero.

Oh yes you can, and should. Politics is prob why Alleva was tasked by someone unseen, with being the search committee all alone. Politics is prob also why we got somebody easy like CEO. Somebody unseen may have owed some favors back down de bayou. And politics is what helped provide the obscene buy-out.
