7-1 was always the goal. Still sitting there smiling at us.

The OL is not the problem in the running game. There are 5 OLs that block the 4 DL. The problem are the linebackers. That goes to the play call. The two running plays we have can be set on all day. The OL are making their blocks, except center every so often

Alabama doesn't have a good defense. I could easily see this team beating Bama and then turning around and shitting the bed against UF or Vandy. That's one of the many problems with Kelly's teams. There is no consistency from week to week. Whatever this "process" is that he likes to talk about clearly doesn't work. You can't take any game for granted with him.

What concerns me the most is how we got out-coached. They made the adjustments at half on defense and offense and we didn’t. Their coach even told the sideline reporter what they were going to do and we couldn’t adjust to their pressure defense. How can this defense not know how to handle the RPO. And we STILL can’t run the ball.

Last night sucked bad. There’s a difference between bad games, bad teams, and bad programs. Last night was a bad game. I believe we’re a pretty good team. I

We lost against USCw, we survived USCe because their QB got hurt, we required insane luck to beat Ole Miss, and we got spanked by TAMU.

I don't know if we can call this a good team based on the data.

We are a very, very flawed team whose D and QB can lose any game we play.

Unless the offense makes a slight adjustment

Because going from a shotgun pro style attack to running read options every play is a slight adjustment. My word, thinks with emotion only

In 2007, this would have been a big deal.

In 2024, it's a slight adjustment, especially since they have run that exact offense plenty this year. No excuse not to be prepared for it, especially since we just did last week.

Changing QBs and the entire system is not a slight adjustment.

Our inability to run makes us one dimensional. If the guy who has to throw it is off, you’re F’d.

This is a rational and well thought out post. It might not be received well!
