- The SEC is wide open. Not even Georgia is impressive.
-Most NCAA teams even have pretty big holes, that could make this season similar to 2007
-LSU has an offense capable of winning championships.
-LSU defense is lackluster (opinion: House’s scheme just ain’t great)
-Bama is not great, but by November Saban will have them much improved. If we can’t fix our defensive woes, the worst Bama Offense in Saban’s history there, will score 40 on us.
Defense has to be fixed. It’s the difference between contender and pretender.

This closer than some of us here might think.
With a little better pass rush, the backfield will play much better. Just an incremental improvement in one thing is probably all we need.

The emergence of Whit Weeks has fixed a few issues. Just wish someone would step up in the secondary. Major Burns was being majorly burned all game. Huge disappointment for a guy who’s been in the program for what feels like since Miles was here.

you know, there is hope for this defense. they never quit and played with a lot of confidence. made a lot of plays and got oh so close on so many more. it's 3rd downs that are killing us, as well as blown coverages, which happens a lot on 3rd downs.
they did bow up in the red zone. that was the difference in the game.
