A good metric to show the progress BK has made

We are currently +7 point underdogs at Bama this year. Ole Miss is +6.5 at this point so our spread should drop barring any major injuries. Expect it to be more like +3 or a pick em.
Two years ago we were 29-point underdogs at their place.
Last year we were 13.5 underdogs at home.

Not saying BK hasn't made positive progress, but I think this is a terrible way to judge said progress.
Alabama is down compared to their previous years. The line has more to do with Bama being down vs LSU being up.
