Picked up flags were fine.
Wasn't one for defensive PI (or some other call that you only throw a flag on if you see something)? On tv they showed Saban jawing at the ref, and then the flag picked up.

A few other comments:
LSU WRs run some truly horrific routes. This is my second game in person and the first where I sat in the end zone and could see plays developing. I realize jennings is struggling with accuracy but his WRs dont help his cause either.
one thing I was sad to see return to the LSU offense, they run stop routes to get easy pitch and catches for Jennings and he does the JJ routine where he throws it 100 miles and hour with the nose of the ball pointed down to a stopped receiver. Pretty much an uncatchable ball, especially when he misses on his accuracy.
It seems like LF ALWAYS cuts to his right, regardless of pursuit and running lanes. I know that isnt true but damn it sure seems like it. Several times he cut right back into the pursuing defense and got hammered.
If Sims and the passing game was even mediocre, I think Bama beats us by 24pts. There were numerous open receivers he either completely missed or didnt see.
Cooper can forget about any more Heisman talk. He was a drop machine on Saturday
When LSU WRs do run good routes, Jennings doesn't see the field at all. Everything is called throws to primary receivers. There is zero reading routes and going through progressions. The LSU passing game is criminally simple and Jennings still doesnt seem to have a mastery of it.

I don't know, but Fournette has had 20 returns this year and averaged 23.5 per return. Magee has had our only other return and he has our longest of the year at 49 yards. The coaches should be able to see that some tweaking is in order.
I thought our special teams was improving.

I have a question. Was bama's TD drive in regulation the same drive that welter played? Ive already deleted the game from my DVR
I dont remember exactly, but welter was playing when beckwith got hurt. It wasnt coaches being stubborn.

What if WE had a mediocre passing game.

we dont, and never did this season. LSU is last or 2nd to last in every major passing category
But BAMA has had a pretty good passing offense against everyone but LSU on Saturday
Sims is leading the SEC in QBR
Sims is 5th in passing yards
Sims is 5th in Comp %
Sims is 6th in Comps
Sims is 6th in TDs
But he was AWFUL against LSU and missed numerous open receivers

LSU caught many breaks with bama dropping passes
LSU dropped too many passes as well
bama finally started making plays and LSU couldn't recover.

no doubt, and this was atypical for them, especially cooper

The holding that bama gets away with is criminal. they were grabbing LSU DE's by their arms and pulling them. same with lacouture
It was obvious enough to Danielson, the announcer, so much so that he was sure they would call it while he identified the player holding, and yet it was not called.

That's a stretch. They had some drops. We had some drops. Every QB has open receivers they don't see at times. It's the nature of the position.
LSU's D + Tiger Stadium rattles some people. Bama hadn't played in a really tough environment against a D like ours. Sims didn't have a great game, but he still had 200 yards passing, no turnovers, 2 TDs and did it when it mattered the most.

off the top of my head there were three plays that were BAMA incompletions in the underneath and middle tier of the field where a WR (usually #2) was running wide open down the field.
IMHO Sims does not see the field well at all and he is not very accurate. They throw a lot of "easy" to complete throws that lead to his 61.6% completion

They go after a lot of easy completions. He is playing QB for the first time in college and he usually is looking for Cooper and misses other guys at times when they are open. Of course, this happens with a lot of teams though when there is a star receiver. I did see him throwing many nice bombs against Florida when they played them. He racked up serious yards against them.

Sure
He is mediocre to good on most occasions
Had he been just mediocre they beat us fairly easily Imho all things being equal
