I was talking about after we beat Bama the door was wide open... Stanford had a shot, Boise St(and i hate saying boise) had a shot, VA Tech had a shot. All of those teams had as good a chance as Okie St did. But what happened? Everyone 1 of them lost to shitty teams. Bama lost to LSU. If any of those 3 teams could of put it together and win out, we dont play Bama. But, they all failed and lost to lesser opponents. Just look at it from a rankings situation. Could you honestly put Okie St ahead of Bama when they lost to Iowa St at home? Same with Boise losing to Nevada? No you cant. If those teams lose to teams they have no business losing to, you cant put them ahead of Bama whose only loss came to #1 LSU. And please dont respond by saying look at the wins look at the wins blah blah blah. When Okie St lost to Iowa St they lost credibility and national respect, because they lost to Iowa fricking State.

Um, last year we WERE the media darlings. Even this year they televise us at every opportunity and put our suspended player on SI.

I don't think you do either. It's all about marketing and ratings.

So LSU would have gotten the Bama treatment if the roles had been reversed?

Don't answer, because we all know already. Instead of LSU winning 11/5, all we heard about was how Bama beat themselves. You cannot deny that.

Yes. The two teams were clearly the best in the country and made for the most intriguing matchup for a college football fan.

Not at all, but you clearly don't know how to navigate this message board. You weren't quoted.

So all the media talk about Bama dominating everything but the scoreboard 11/5 and beating themselves led you to that conclusion? Please.

How would you like for a one loss LSU team to be left out of the NC game this year because some team with a BS schedule ended up higher in the polls due to being the late season media darling.

You mean like Bama's schedule last year? Osu had a far better resume

Your whining and obsession with the Bama program is unflattering to rational fans.

The rematch sucked, but the BCS's job is to pick the two best teams. You think Bama wouldn't have donkey stomped Ok. St.'s no defense having asses? Or Stanford's slow as shite team? Or Oregon's gimicky offense?

This is major myth on this board. The bcs says NOTHING ABOUT TWO BEST TEAMS. it says #1 vs #2. And every single year, before2011, teams were chosen by their résumé. Last year was the , "eyeball " test which is ignorant at best. There is a reason we Play the games. Did anyone believe Utah was gonna stomp Bama in 08? For the first time ever, who you lost too , counted more than who you beat.

Yall do realize that even if we lost the SEC Championship game we where still going to the BCSNC. Everyone knew this. No one was bitching about that. We would have killed OSU if they where put in above bama eveyone knew this. Bama and LSU looked to be the best matchup. But maybe OSU would have been better than LSU

Everyone knows that #1 and #2 isn't always the best teams. South Florida was ranked #2 not to long ago
