9-3. Get there. No excuses

Such a great win, and it could and should be similar to the Alabama game in 2001 for this team and regime.
Both teams had bad frustrating losses early on and seemed to finally put it all together and play the way we thought they could.
This should set the tone not just for this season, but for this regime, similar to the way that Bama game in 01 did for that season, and that regime (no I'm definitely not comparing our current coach to Saban).
But frick around and drop another game to teams MSU or Troy and we're right back where we started with an anomalous 20 point come back win that showed more about Auburn than it did about us after they smacked us around and got cocky.
Alabama is the only team left on our schedule that we shouldn't beat. Aside from them are four teams with outmatched rosters and lame duck coaches.
Any other losses would be regression and render yesterday a mirage.

6-2 in conference is a real possibility now. Seemed impossible after Troy.

I hope you are right, but I'm not putting the bar that high for this team. Wouldn't be fair imo.
For someone as confident as that, you must agree then that a loss to any of those other teams left on our schedule would be a huge fail, right?

Great post and come to the understanding that Bama is in the heads of all SEC schools. Don't dwell on Bama and let Bama be what it will be. We will be favored in all other games.

9-3 puts this team back on the radar of where they were expected to finish preseason. If they wrap that up with a bowl win and pull off a 10 win season in O's first year after that embarrassing first 5 game stretch then I'll give this staff credit they deserve for finishing strong in their first season.
