I bashed him for the title game only that year... If you can't bring yourself to do that then that's your problem.. 2011 was A GREAT season.. One of the best ever in LSU history.. But 1/9/12 was a HORRIBLE coaching job.... There is no other way to look at it...........

Your typical LSU message board fan wouldn't know a poor recruiting standard if it punched them in the nose.
They only look at the rankings and cry.
They are not smart enough to realize that to get the actual class ranking they would have to go to the class calculator and make changes to the class.
A 4-star safety would need to be removed and replaced with a 5-star CB. A DT who was ranked 53rd in his class before starting every game played in college who transferred to LSU would need to be added. A 3-star QB who became a billetnikoff candidate as a WR in college and a player who was ranked 123rd in the nation regardless of position would also need to be added to the class to get the actual rankings.
This was accomplished in spite of this site and definitely not because of it.

Don't know. A lot of stuff could happen between the spring game and the end of the season. Way too early to do predictions (which I don't do) or speculate on how strong the team that eventually takes the field will be.
Hopefully, last season was an anomaly, but I'm looking forward to seeing how many of the true freshmen besides Marshall play and possibly start.

Figured you’d respond this way, so just to spell it out for you since you clearly need someone to hold your hand through this....the class was ranked 14th. That’s worse than it’s been in awhile. That’s not my opinion—hell, in my opinion this is a damn good glass. The FACT is, it was ranked worse than in years past, no matter how good or bad you think the class was.
Back to my question that you ignored (big shock): Were more blue chip recruits turned off by LSU this year than in years past because of this website? Is this website why we finished 14th and not in the top 10 in recruiting?

I was talking about over 30 freshmen playing with 12 having to start in a season as being the anomaly. With the freshmen numbers alone I was satisfied with last year.

If you think the FACT that LSU played over 30 freshmen while starting two on the O-line for the majority of the season is an EXCUSE, go for it.
Reason vs excuse for a winning season and bowl game against Notre Dame. Doesn't even matter. And I would say that regardless of having to play over 30 freshmen.

WHOA... You have said yourself those same EXCUSES after Miles lost players to the draft and had to start young inexperiences players... THOSE were your excuses for Miles..............
