Very valid point, even if I happen to think Harris can do everything Jennings is doing.

He couldn't against Auburn, and that is a fact. He wasn't/maybe still isn't ready....and it is worth the risk to you when we have a formula that we know we can win with?

If you are saying give the coaches the benefit of the doubt, I agree. If you are saying they are infallible, I do not.

never said that....what I said is that there is more to this than you know....the Auburn experience wasn't some out of the blue performance....

quote:

I don't think he is a guy who can win it for us if Bama or another opponent is successful in shutting down our running game (like Miss State was). If we can run through Bama and minimize turnovers, and if our defense can play with the emotion and tenacity that we saw Saturday night, we're in good shape.

so you think Bama is going to shut us down, even though they couldn't shut Tenn or Arky down from running the ball? That's where you lose me. this isn't bama 2011...by a long shot...plus, Jennings will have an opportunity to beat them deep. One wouldn't expect us to turn the ball over nearly as much....and like my prediction for Ole Miss...I think this is a game where LSU can win going away....obviously miscues prevented us from doing that against Ole Miss...but the opportunity was there.

And then we get the name calling...

not name calling at all....I have a VERY deep respect for blue collar workers in this country.....I just think there are leaders and followers....not everyone is made for doing both.

My questions are: Considering LSU has already lost 2 games. Would it be more prudent to play Harris (At least some meaningful snaps) in prep for next year to make a real run?

before the Ole Miss win, I would be w you 100%
however, the BCS FORMULA is not in place, we have 12 humans. I think they can be influenced, but we would need to WIN ALL GAMES and have a little luck with others losing...

however, if we were to lose another game, or if we were winning by a comfortable margin..Yes, give him some playing time.

Les miles will show why he is the better corch, and bring that gambler attitude.

AJ will throw fire 40 percent and 2 picks with 85 yds for the win. He is getting better and will manage us to victory!

I have said since Saturday that LSU has improved a shitload... But they will need better qb play to beat Bama... That's all I have said......

NOW TOUGHGUY if YOU want to meet somewhere and discuss this further, that's on you....

If the defense can play the rest of the year like it did Sat, probably will not matter who the QB is. If 17 or more offensive points are needed, I have little confidence in AJ. I don't think you'll see Harris get meaningful time unless Jennings gets hurt though.

AJ couldn't get it done against new Mexico state.

The point is moot. Miles had chosen AJ. Harris will not play

I don't understand your basis for this statement.

Against the #1 SEC, LSU would have scored 20 except for a fumble at the one and a missed short FG. You don't think LSU can score more than that against Arkansas and A&M even with Jennings at QB?

I think Les has the offense he wants. Im not sure he is concerned with much else.

so he reluctantly let Cam call the offense last year?

how long has it been since LSU won 8 games in a season?

I certainly think LSU can score 17 points, I don't think LSU will score 17 points on the strength of QB play the rest of the way.

LSU beat UGA in 2011 in the SECCG in what may have been the worst performance by an LSU QB in a long time. Stranger things have happened.

It's up to the defense to carry this team the rest of the way.

But if you sit here and tell me that we'll beat Bama going 8-16 with two picks you're sorely b mistaken.
Was it the 8-16 or the 2 picks?

I say play the exact same game w/o turnovers and the red team better beware.

If D gets any take aways, red team better beware and ensure their affairs are in order.

I think winning games is acceptable. How we do that is fricking lagniappe. Yes, the passing game needs to get better, but we didn't lose either of those 2 games this year because of it.
