There is a limit what the fan base will pay to watch poor quality.

but ULL/ULM/Troy shouldn't be full priced.

You would have to pay me to go to Tiger stadium to watch those games.

But where does it end? Ticks are gonna go up $20 / year?

Supply and demand.

You think TS won't sell out the Bama game at $70/per.

Market value, nothing wrong with that.

yall can bitch and moan but true fans will be there to support the team no matter what. I think $70 is rather cheap if both team has a good record coming into the game.

No question. However, charging anything above $30 for the OOC crapfests will result in a 3/4 filled stadium at kickoff.

bullshite

I hate the "true fan" pissing contest

I will sit at home, have over some friends and cook some good food and watch 10 games a year, attend one or two if possible, and still be as much of an LSU fan as anyone out there

If you want to pay to go to games, great. If you'd rather take the cost of your season ticket renewal and buy a really nice TV and watch the Tigers from home, great. Where your arse is parked on gameday has nothing to do with being a "true" fan

And that's great, but my point is that you prob. don't know more than 60,000 of them.

Only people who will be paying face value for those games are the season ticket holders, many of whom won't be attending.
