Senior quarterbacks Jordan Jefferson and Jarrett Lee got most of the snaps during the scrimmage and they each spent time with the No. 1 offense.

doesn't know the offense well enough, even though his stats from scrimmages are better than lee and jefferson combined.

That's Miles being "honestly deceptive".

there are 2 guys that have 3 years seniority over him. Has nothing to do with Mett's potential.

But miles didn't say it. Just stating a fact.

If he was flawless and as fantastic as you guys think he is, he would be #2 behind Lee.

wouldn't be the first time Les' QB choices have been suspect.

We know TIGERLEE, and just because you want this to happen doesn't mean it will, I bet you will be so mad if JJ starts and plays 90% of the game!! Not hating on Lee but your man crush for the man is crazy, Im beggining to worry about Lee's well bein with you being on the loom as a potential stalker... Just Sayin...

Miles is basically saying "I will lie straight up if I feel it gives me and my team an advantage"

I love the way you think you know everything that goes down in practice. Then make solid conclusions just by a spring game and scrimmage stats that Miles just makes up.

Come to think of it, there never have been Mett stats from scrimmages.

So basically, you're basing everything off spring game stats.

yes, i would put it at85%/15% that you are correct. people get all huffy when miles doesn't keep them in the loop daily (or even hourly) and they lose sight of the overall picture. IF JJ is front and center in this investigation, which seems likely but i have seen no actual proof of it, then i say miles sits him.

I know, I cant believe anyone in the media did not specifically ask how JJ did in the scrimmage including number of snaps etc... once he gave this answer

Regardless, I hope Lee starts, and that opens the door for Mett to get experience. We lose zero with JJ being out.

Oh, and I'm not taking up for either QB, Lee or Jefferson, I don't care.....

I'm just sick of people thinking Mettenberger WILL come in and be flawless and lead the team to 3 straight national championships.

If he's in, I don't know if he will be successful, but everyone needs to stop praising this kid as if they KNOW FOR A FACT that he's ready to play without missing a beat.

Really? In what situations? Who was he throwing against? Who was blocking for him vs. who? What plays did they run? Was it Red Zone? Was it just slants? Was it just certain routes? Fades? Was there a rush? Any blitzes?

TIA

I totally agree. Unless Miles knows for a fact that JJ is completely innocent and will be cleared, it would not make sense to leave his QB preparation unchanged.
