If Auburn had 440 yds rushing shouldn't there have been more points scored?

Because our ST's downed the ball around the 1 yd line 3X, at the 11 once, and the 8 once.
Apart from this, AU would have easily hung 40+ pts on us.

they could have scored more. scoring wasn't a problem for them but why risk shite when you know LSU isn't playing to win

I don't know...something just not logical here. Don't get me wrong Auburn outplayed LSU big time..but the score was tied up until the 4th quarter. So again I am just not putting 2 and 2 together...Seems like the score should have been 41-17 with those kind of rushing yards.

well it could have been they missed a fg and had a gift fumble they gave us plus they could have scored another td.

Auburn sucked in the passing game as usual, but seeing as how they were going up against the best passing defense in the SEC, and that they don't even have a real passing attack, that was to be expected.
