For outdoor, yes....

But LSUsports.net said different...

Holliday, who returns to the LSU track and field team for his final season of indoor eligibility in 2010, is in search of his first career NCAA title in the 60-meter

What a freak he was. So huge compared to the rest of the little guys in the top 15. One of the best athletes evah.

He even said that he knew the injury was going to get him - he was unused to not being the fastest guy on any team he ever played on, and despite typically being the heaviest (or one of the two or three heaviest) skill players on every team he ever played on. Once he started losing foot races at practice, he said that the handwriting was on the wall.

He operates a business called Don Beebe's House of Speed where he instructs on how to increase speed.

Yea, I had the same reaction when I found the list. Suppose some unofficial times are more unofficial than others.

Trindon must not have gotten his hands on some Flintstones chewables.

Why is it so hard for people to realize just because someone is fast at the 100m etc does not make them fast at the 40 time?

Even Olympic athletes have run slower 40 times than some NFL players but would smoke them in probably a true 100m or longer.

his strength in the 100m dash is his start and acceleration, which should actually make him better in the 40 yard dash

Seems as though his strength may have been able to maintain that top end acceleration, or kick it into another gear mid run. I mean 4.27/4.32 is not slow, it just obviously is not what many seem to have predicted.

totally different starts. Blocks and gun reaction his whole life vs. no blocks and no gun in the 40. I would think if he took more time to learn the 40 and practice it his time would drop.....but then that might frick up his track start, which you don't want to do.

i am guessing because the 37 combine 40s faster than his never ran the 100m dash competitively in track ..
