We would be sitting at a tailgate relaxing with a drink. At the game we are standing, screaming and jumping in the heat. Plus there is absolutly no arguing that night games are better. So yeah I'm pissed about the game time. By the way the sig pic of toonces on toonces is really cool bra.

All games in Death Valley are special... Did the sun start setting at 7:00 and I didn't get the memo?

You are being a jackass sonnyboy. Later starts is better because it IS cooler at 7 than it is even at 5. Early starts are for places that do not have 80% humidity. I do not care if the folks in Florida or bama start their games earlier. They are damn fools and it might be their tradition. It is our tradition to start at 7. It USED to be 7:30 but it was changed to get the game results in the eastern papers.
So, sonnyboy, if you want to bitch about something, bitch about your clearasil not working.

how many have you attended? not many is my guess. Anyone who goes knows, the nighttime is the right time.

If the choice is play on ESPN at 4 with national coverage or no coverage at 7, you always go with ESPN. If you don't get that, you may be a LSU fan, but you're probably not a graduate of LSU.

You should boycott and not go since 4:00 games are so terrible. that would teach them

Apparently that's the strategy. The stadium will be half empty by halftime.

If I'm sitting in the Northwest corner of the endzone in the lower bowl, about what time will I no longer have to worry about the sun?

At kickoff, Sally ... you're in the perfect spot. You've got it made in the shade.

Are you telling me that you wouldn't be outside all day tailgating in the heat anyway if the kickoff was at 7:00. Whats with all the complaining? man up and be a fan...

By your logic, since we tailgate outside from 8am-7pm, we should have no problem sitting in the stands for a noon kickoff, either, right?

This post is retarded. Apples and oranges comparing tailgaiting to actually sitting in the stadium w/ nowhere to hide from the sun.

its bs to have a non conference game at 4pm. I'm really not sure how people aren't being fans by complaining as long as they go to the game. Night games are more fun than day games, always have been always will be. Of course people are going to be upset about having to sit out in the sun instead of being able to tailgate under trees and tents for a couple of more hours.

You know i wish the game was at 7 bc I love playing at tiger time...but out of all the bozos, you won't here me complaining. And I'm a student and my group known as the Painted Posse will be there way b4 most so that we get our front row seats. SO that puts us outside the stadium by 10 or 11. Anyone else who complains....whats your story? You can still tailgate after the game right?

I could care less what time the kickoffs were, as long as I see some football, I wouldn't care if it was 2:30am.

I would be willing to bet that most people who don't complain about an early kickoff don't attend the games. There isn't a person I know who likes the Tigers (and attends the games) who prefers an early kickoff, and I know a lot of fans who attend the games.

I think it is the general attitude that it is our God-given right to play at 7, rest of the world be damned, that is annoying.

tailgating in the 4:00 heat is MUCH different than sitting in the stadium in 4:00 heat...especially for those with RV's

no kidding. under a tree, under tents, with box fans blasting = sitting in Tiger Stadium.

what a dolt to make that kind of comparison.
