You don't think LaRon's impressive bench press help his stock? The dude was freaking mule. Kind of played similar to TM at LSU. do you want to see a pic of him now? Laron didn't even bench at the combine or his pro day.

At no point in my text, that you quoted, did I say LaRon Landry benched at the combine. He did bench for the NFL scouts though as link says above.

You said Laron's bench improved his stock. There's nothing in that article that shows that. And quote for me where it says he benched for scouts.

Here you go:
LINK

quote:

Players on the offensive and defensive line are evaluated based on the number of repetitions they can put up on the bench press, but for other positions, such as cornerback and wide receiver, the bench press is not as important

quote:

When a college player prepares for the NFL Draft, the league might invite him to the NFL Scouting Combine, which gives team executives the opportunity to observe players perform drills such as the 40-yard dash and bench press. Completing each drill isn't mandatory, and many cornerbacks forgo the bench press drill because of its lack of importance for their position.

Your just arguing for the sake of arguing. You keep trying to take the argument deeper but you have zero grounds and zero links.

WTF are you talking about. You said his bench would hurt his draft stock. I asked you to show me a prospect who's bench performance has impacted their draft stock. You haven't.

You are the one going off on tangents about Mathieu not being physically fit. Then link an article that basically says the low bench questions his work ethic.

That article does nothing to support your positions of Mathieu not being physically fit or shows anyone who has effected their draft stock through bench press numbers.

Didn't stop him from stripping the ball about every other time from "stronger" players. Leave the bench press reps to the linemen.
WTF? Honey Badger going to do fine in the NFL.
