I thought last season JD didn’t always like to throw when closer to regular stride running. His footwork moving in pocket shuffling feet versus crossing them over improved after several games, but I think last season and then off season he was still working on getting feet set from something closer to a run instead of making a more off-platform throw (2 point conversion against Bama was shorter throw in air).

Should have just made throw right before pic or been in process in pic, but feet don’t look set to throw. Still looks like if he gets feet right after pic Nabors still would have been open, and he just would have been more contested getting a 1st down.

I would like to know what was discussed during time out as far as play and going for it in 4th down if it came up a little short.
