total yards are irrelevant

how do you not understand that?

SCORING offense ranked 19th

^ that is what matters

FWIW, it was 70th last season will JJ at the helm the majority of the time

If you have to explain this, don't waste your time

2007 - 2010 ... 4 years ... LSU dee allows 19 PPG on average ... how's that shaking out after two SEC games

6 damn yards difference in yards per game. After 5 games and our toughest Ds coming, versus last years whole season.

Why is anyone knighting for anything.

It seems the best we got is pretty damn mediocre.
You're an idiot. Yards don't matter. Points do

It's stupid to be looking at this anyhow. We have no idea what Jefferson would have done as the starting QB of this team under the new offense.

We have no idea what Lee would have done if he was the full-time starter last year.

Neither are very good players.

point is, LSU will have short fields this year.

it seems like some of our fans would want LSU to maybe back it up on a punt return?

maybe kneel it at the 5 on a kick off?

Hey buddy!

You show up to throw out a baseless criticism, get proven wrong and bail again?

Good times!

YOU CANNOT STATISTICALLY EVALUATE THIS TEAM

THE DEFENSE IS OFF THE FRICKEN CHARTS

THE OFFENSE HAD A MEDIOCRE PERFORMANCE ... 7 dropped passes in the first 15 throws

Had we hung 60 on this pitiful bunch, would everyone be squealing, lol

Not at all, I am a firm Lee supporter.

Just wondering why a lot of folks act as if we Are now the Patriots.

Enough hatred to boo a player, I find that crazy.

What argument?

The offense is better this year. I've already said that?

The results aren't overwhelmingly different. The avg. points per game last year through the first 4 was 22.5, and significantly higher over the backhalf in SEC Play.

In 2 SEC Games we've posted 19 and 28 points on offense against two of the lower end defenses in the conference.

Ok sure, let's re-hash that thread.

I've acknowledged, many times, both in that thread and other threads here, that may criticism may have been a touch harsh.

Yet, the point was the Jarrett Lee still struggles with ball placement. He gets the ball in the vicinity of the WR but rarely hits them in stride, often makes them go up the ladder to get it, or throws it low, etc. He's inconsistent at best.

Yesterday was a prime example of what I was saying in the thread.

Do you believe Jarrett Lee played great yesterday?
If you do, then you'll defend him regardless of performance.

I'll say it again, anyone here who is dumb enough to think I want Lee to fail for the sake of my ego and being right so that my favorite sports team will suffer is plainly stupid.

we were winning last year and all people could do was bitch about how horrible jj was.

now the results are the same, statistically, and everyone is in love with the offense and lee.

Really? We are averaging a margin of victory of 38-13 through our first 5 games.

Last year, our first 5 games had a margin of victory of 24 to 12.

Yeah, winning by an average of 25 as compared to 12 is not different at all, especially against tougher opponents this year.
