Tigers need to take a page out of Penn's playbook. See the ball - attack the ball. I thought he had a good game on Sat. Not sure on his sideline-to-sideline speed but he generally slammed his target more often than not. I was impressed.

I hate the "I'm trying to be edgy by calling the players by their number and not their name" crowd. I don't know a lot of the players numbers and I've seen every play of every game.

Penn doesn't have 1st round speed, but he is pretty good otherwise.

The defense needs to make tackles on 3rd down and get off of the field.

The number is much more visible than the name. So, if you can’t manage to tie the two together, it makes sense to refer to them by their number.

Penn has definitely improved the last couple of games. Between his improvement and Perkins being awesome as a freshman, I no longer see linebacker as a huge weakness. Still a bit thin perhaps, but they are performing well lately.

Don't want to leave Baskerville out. He's been pretty good but we knew what we had with him.

I play Madden and NCAA 14 with updated rosters. Its the only reason I know names and numbers.

BK called Daniels "5" in at least one game this year. Is he trying to be "edgy"? or is it just an accepted practice in football? If you've every played football you'd hear players, coaches and fans do this all the time. It's not being edgy, its just football. Besides, numbers are sentimental to most players.
